  • Role of Hedgehog pathway in primary CNS neoplasms, in collaboration with Bangur Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata and Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata

  • Thesis research work entitled “Analysis of cisplatin-induced changes in DNA conformation by Raman Spectroscopy: A Study on the Kinetics of Molecular Mechanism
  • Visiting Scholar under the Khorana Program, on a project entitled “Determining the Mechanism by which Tomosyn-2 Inhibits Insulin Secretion from Pancreatic Beta Cells”, under the guidance of Prof Alan D Attie at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. (2010)
  • Short term research fellowship at L.V.Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. Completed a project entitled “Analysis of Expression of Proliferation and Differentiation Related Genes in Human and Rabbit Corneal Endothelium” under the mentorship of Dr Chitra Kannabiran, Dr Virender S Sangwan and Prof D Balasubramanian. (2009)
  • Project on the clinico-epidemiological analysis of microbial flora present in the respiratory epithelium of HIV infected children. Mentor: Prof. Dr Sangeeta Das Bhattacharya, School of Medical Science and Technology, I.I.T. Kharagpur. The work was conducted at the pediatric HIV clinic of Medical College Calcutta and National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (NICED), Kolkata. (2008)
