  • Comprehensive genetic analysis of the risk factors for Chronic Pancreatitis in a population from North-Eastern Region of India.
  • Molecular and genetic analysis of the development and progression of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Past Major Projects:

  • Investigating the involvement of Hedgehog signaling pathway in Lung Cancer .
  • Regulation of microRNA expression in Colorectal cancer.
  • Exploring the role of the RNA-binding protein (CRDBP) in melanoma/skin biology.
  • Exploring the cross-talk between Wnt and Hedgehog signaling pathways.
  • Understanding the mechanism of degradation/stabilization of ß-TrCP mRNA.
